We can work it out

I like to throw around the term running around like a mad woman in the night loosely and although funny it is just not descriptive enough to use to explain how crazy busy I have been nothing else comes to mind sooo I have been running around like 10 madwomen in the night with decorating , xmas knitting, xmas shopping and so on and so forth. Just to gloat a little I have 2 prezzies left to buy and one knitting project left to complete.
Friday we drove to London in some bad weather to see Jeff and Matt’s band play at The Last Drop. See photo’s taken care of random roommate guy, Brad, Jeff and Lanny. Although The Last Drop is as tiny as a button we were generally surprised that you did not have to go down a dark and smelly staircase to arrive at the venue we Were however thrown that we had to climb a precarious staircase up. Lanny was also surprised of the close proximity to the church next-door. In the photo of us outside you can see the hangman executioner guy and we were told unsure if this is true or not that this was indeed the sight of hangings back in the day. I am choosing to believe sed story as it is fun and makes me feel like not only did I go and see a pretty sweet show but that I got a mini historical tour of London as well.
The opening bands firstly some dudes strumming their guitars a la acoustic open mike style, a screamo band who likes to think they sound like Alexis on fire and a metal band that was better then the first band but I would still kind of classify as screamo as well.. Figure it out closed the show with a pretty sweet set that encluded some FIO stuff some Lost Cause stuff and a cover of we can work it out.
I gave Jeff his Birthday cupcakes and he was pleased and I have had news back that they were fecking awesome! We got back home at 330am ish watched a sixties CD infomercial and I crawled into bed close to 4-430 ish.
Yesterday we Did some shopping w/ Brad and Cara and then for the rest of the evening I worked on my final xmas knitting project I would say I am 1/4 of the way done. We also missed the grand opening of the Island food place that I have been anticipating the opening for since 3 weeks ago. It’s down the street so we are going to try it out today. I am going to have Jerk Chicken and rice and peas, I am going to try to get lanny to get something different so I can try out two things at once.
Woop woop!
