"spook" tacular weekend
Alright so first my mullet in disguise is now gone I have gotten a new fun haircut.
The corn maze thingy was rained out and all were very dissappointed. Instead we spent the night watching zombie classics. Which is not the same as a spooky maze but still halloweenish. Yesterday night we went to le skratch which is suitable been nick named le snatch since well let's just say oshawa is still the dirty shwa and there is a reason I have been boycotting going to le snatch. Let's see well the ozzy cover band was pretty good and the dude was a chubby young ozzy which was funny and he also had an awesome fringy shirt. OH yes there were alot of mullets out for the night and some of them were costumes and most of them were not! KISS was KISS not awesome but hey if you dress up as KISS that pretty much gets you mucho points in satan's service right? Their costumes were AWESOME! hmm what else well we heard AC/DC really and that goes into a whole cab situation that I don't even want to get into. Best costumes by far I would have to say would be Wayne and Garth because not only did they have perfect costumes but they had the whole persona down and even the walk so that was cool. Kudo's I would also say to nacho libre ,the Ultimate Warrior, Colonel Sanders ohh and that creepy guy from silent hill I forget what they call him but that was a creepy and good costume.
Hmm this morning no hangover but my sore throat thing is back as a full blown cold stuffy nose sore throat ear ache grrrrr.
I also have some great idea as uniform things for derby so I am going to try to make it out to fabric land while all the halloween material is on sale team colours are orange and black so this is probably the best time to nab some good material.
I'm off to shower and play with my new haircut which is no longer a mullet woohoo!

freaks n geeks 2
Oh yes I have a stalker of sorts. She yes She... works at fabricland by my house. I've never had a girl stalker before. I' ve had quite a few guy stalkers but I was assuming they were stalking me because of my sparkling personality but a girl? Is she stalking me because she wants to be friends with me or because she is a lesbian? I am leaning towards the friends thing because her hair is in desperate needs of being redyed and if she had friends then they would tell her such. Then again that could mean she is a lesbian because she doesn't care about her girly appearance but then why would she of dyed her hair in the first place. She is not exactly stalking me persay as in following me home. but when I go into the store (the next store is 20 min away) she is always there and she will jump through hoops to find me and cut my fabric. and yesterday when I was getting my red riding hood fabric she was helping these people pick patterns and I was waiting in the get fabric cut line ( line since everyone is making costumes for their kids and it is super busy) she is ignoring the line I think she had saw me and was waiting for me to get in the line... then She sees I'm in line so she goes to open a new table this short lady walks up to her at the same time asking for help with some fabric so she goes to help the lady she is helping the lady and says nothing to her and then the lady in my line goes to work cash and says she will be write back so I am the next person in line. she comes back and cuts my material so my stalker kind of looked disappointed since she didn't cut my material so then she ran to the cash and waited for me there so she could ring me in... She always asks me like 20 questions when I am there and I saw her serving the other lady and she asked her no questions so I'm in line and she starts asking me the 20 questions. now she always starts off with the same questions like normal things like what are you making then so are you a student here?? and so on.. either way it's not like I know a zillion people here so maybe I should be come friends with her but she is kinda creepy.. right???? also now I have to go back because I just thought of doing a cool cherry lining on the inside of my cape. I also think she might be giving me a discount on top of my fabricland discount but I am not really sure.
Also and furthermore the comic book guilty pleasure... the dude at the comic store said he will call me when they get in why?? because I went into the store and I am like Hi I am looking for this comic it just came out and he is like no they postponed it and blah blah blah and I'm like hmm well I read on the internet today that it came out this week and is on sale.. and he looks it up and he's like oh dang it did come out this week.. some one fucked up and he is like I will call you as soon as we get it... and I'm all oh great i am more geeky then the friggin geek who owns a comic book store. Then I bought an emily comic and left.
well that's about it.

freaks n geeks
So it's been quite a while since I last wrote a blog of some sorts. I've been knitting, skating and other general freakishness.
"Howl" o ween is almost here and I didn't even have time to make a costume this year the time has just flown by. I am going to go check out Taleeze because according to the paper I got when I got home it is my "halloween shopping destination" and see what they have. Then I will probably go to fabric land and pick up the material to make my cape I am pretty sure I am going to go as little red riding hood.
oh yes this week at work we had a survivor style vote on if a member having personal problems should stay working for the company or not. yes I know this brings up quite a few questions so I will just answer them here
1 no not sCankerface
2 No I am not making it up
3 yes I did feel like I was on the show the Office.
So we are being told of the vote and in reflection I wish I would of said OK I have a few questions that I need to have cleared up b4 I vote. Question one is there a immunity idol hidden in the office somewhere? Question two will there be a ceremony with the torches and the flames because I think I can speak for the majority when I say this will definitely affect the outcome of the vote.
anyways the person was not voted out of the office and got to stay.
Hmm whatelse oh yes this is where people who are not geeks should prob stop reading.....if they did not already stop reading with the whole survivor thing.
The first anita blake series has come out in comic book style that's right guilty pleasures so I am off to "hunt" down a copy to see what it's all about.. the local comic book store here is called LOoking for Heroes... yep I am not joking. so I am going to look at looking for hero's . It is sad it sounds like a lost and found of superheroes.... should I go in with a wanted poster?? I need to go in and check it out to see what it's all about and judge it by it's cover. I already know the story line, so if the pictures are not up to par then I do not want anything to do with it. It may ruin the whole image I have already created in my mind so I hope it's good. They have decided on 12 so far which I think is the amount of books there are out. I wonder how they will work out the comic part of the ardeur? ok enough geek talk.... hey I've only been to one comic book convention and that was because I was dating a "colourer" who is no longer a colourer but an artist with his own comicbook series now so don't judge.
have a great weekend!

Oktoberfest ist Wonderbar

Yesterday kicked off Oktoberfest 2006.
It's our first year joining the festivities. We went to retroberfest which was awesome. They had a mini casino set up and food and beer of course. The topper the muchmusic video dance party set up. Yep Picture your grade nine dance with leiderhosen, fun hats and alot of beer! We danced and rocked out ot the 80's all night long there was a brief pause to Walter O it up and do the chicken dance and other polka classics. Cara also won a DVD of the Pursuit of happiness live in concert I am sure she'll treasure it! lol I didn't bring my digital camera just my regular one but I did get some great pics. We did however miss the elusive Oncle Hans. I saw his large orange head across the room while the official retroberfest keg was tapped and Cara and I headed over to get closer to him to take a photo. We were at a standstill half way over and an official looking man asked us to step over a bit and we inadvertantly joined a line to drink from the official keg. So as I turn from prosit ting (cheersing) it up with Cara about our free beer Oncle hans is gone. Dang it. Well I still have a week to find him and take a picture. The party continued into the wee morning hours.
I also snapped some pics of the girls getting 80's fied with the digital so enjoy the flashbacks. yes that is a banana clip, cone and crimped hair. I'm looking forward to the rest of the week!

Whimsy Skull

This was really not the time to start a new blog site because I don't have the time right now to get everything set up but I do have next week off; so expect good things to come. I have about a hundred and nine projects on the go. I decided to take on another one yesterday and finished it last night it's this lovely whimsy skull shirt. My forearms feel tired today each button is sewn on individually. I love it though it is so nice and sparkly. Yesterday we also went to the market where we got some fruit and veggies. Then we went grocery shopping and we went to HMV. I also made Angel foodcake and worked on a laundry pile the size of mount everest. Today I am going to make a funky apron and make cookies go skating this afternoon and finish the monstrous pile of laundry. I also have to find time to make an apple pie this week as well and finish my candy corn scarf. Then I want to start some other howl o ween projects. Oh yes I wore the candy corn hat and mittens yesterday they are lightweight and perfect for fall weather plus it was pretty chilly out there and my hair was wet. Everyone was loving the hat and the matchy mitts moiahahahahah.
